JulNoWriMo update
I think I meant to do this yesterday, oops.
My last wordcount update (and the verification) was about 30K words. Currently the project appears to have a total of 31,930 words. (It feels like it should be more because I wound up writing a few thousand notes of an entirely non-presentable AU, but that's not being counted right now so.)
Honestly I think I really like what I've done this month. I especially like that I didn't completely forget it after, and that I seem to be on a trend of continuing it. It's a long way from completion--I'm not sure how long it'll have to be, but I feel like I've barely scratched the surface. I've covered about two days and this thing is supposed to span like a year at least.
The good news is I somehow wound up trying in-character letter-writing and that's been doing pretty stellar, and probably would be a fairly reasonable pacing solution.
I'm trying to catch up on Welcome to Night Vale today, because a new episode came out and I want to be done with the sort-of-there-with-people-but-not-actually-caught-up phase of things. I listened to I think six episodes today and I have I think six more now. (Seven including the new one? I'm bad at these things.)
I was worried for a while about being able to focus on audio-only things (while not in the car, I guess?) but I found some knitting supplies and that seems to be carrying me through. I'm pretty sure I'm halfway to a (somewhat shorter than I intend) scarf right now which is a decent bonus.
