Anyone want to beta-read?
I just finished writing a thing for for this gift exchange. All other details are going under the cut just in case someone following me is doing that too. (There aren't many people who signed up, but this one fic I'm writing will be at least 5% of all works generated for this exchange.)
It's a bit over one thousand words and because it's Homestuck it's half second-person and half chatlog. There's a brief fight scene that I'm worried about, as well as general flow and feel. The marked spelling and grammar errors should be all false positives, but I'd definitely appreciate a second set of eyes to double-check and catch anything that's correct but awkward.
Specifically, the ship is Dirk♠Jake. I don't think I have any experience writing Jake and it wound up being his POV so I'm more worried about him. (Not that I'm hugely confident in what I've written of Dirk before.) I'm definitely worried about the dynamic in general.
If you're interested in beta-reading for me, please let me know. It has to be posted by the 14th, so if you don't have time for it I definitely understand.

If you actually want to do it, you should probably let me know; otherwise I might grant you access anyway but definitely don't feel obligated if you don't feel like it. Either way I'll try to not totally ruin it with how many disclaimers I could make.
