Hey, I'm back from Katsucon. I basically didn't do any of the goals I made beforehand.
I didn't buy anything. I actually spent forty dollars less than my necessities originally dictated. I didn't make a latte for anyone. I didn't say hello to sempai, much less get a desirable photo with him. I cosplayed for a few hours and then decided not to bother again. I had two people ask for my picture and was at the Homestuck shoot for two photos. I didn't get a single thing done on my anthropology project.
I could talk about what I did do but uh every time I think about trying to describe it I sound really trashy wow. I did have fun, but it doesn't sound like special great con things so much as just doing anything other than being at home.
Now I can focus on fic. Which is good! I've got two tropes all figured out, one of which is started. (I'm probably going to be too embarrassed to finish that one for a while though.)
How about you? Did you have a good weekend?

Date: 2013-02-19 01:13 am (UTC)They're all fun, really. I didn't realize it at first, but Katsucon seems to have a higher percentage of cosplayers than I'm used to, which is kind of overwhelming, but also interesting.
