seerofbreadI am currently working on my kiss to save the day entry on Trope Bingo. It's a remarkably predictable premise, really. I was planning to take a break to think about being proud about it, and I probably never would have if I hadn't dropped my tablet pen under the couch.
I don't actually feel good about it, and there will be a lot of disclaimers when I do post it. Except at the same time I'll have to feel proud once I've finished it. It'll be the first multimedia thing I've finished, I think, and there's so much I've learned about gifmaking along the way. I even gained a bit of confidence in the characters, which is really cool if a little confusing given how very out of their setting they are.
School's going okay. Waiting in the lounge is completely miserable, though; I did some concept sketches while waiting and apparently everyone thinks they have a right to look over my shoulder. Did I mention those were for the aforementioned Bingo entry, the same one I'm really embarrassed about?
Spring break starts the week after next. I'm not sure if I'll be doing anything special, but I might be going out of town overnight, which will be to a place I liked a lot but might bring back some uncomfortable memories or I might even run into some people I had awkward experiences with! That's okay; I'd want to face them eventually, and if it gets really bad I can retreat to the ice cream place, which I JUST MIGHT have a fully-punched card for a free ice cream there.
(Also my birthday is during spring break how cool is that?)
I got some new icons (and deleted some old ones!) so I now officially have more than just Homestuck icons. Look at that Katniss! She is so proud that I remembered that I have fandoms that aren't Homestuck.
Also, as a note? I feel more active here than I actually am. I check my reading page daily, and I make a lot of drafted posts that I either delete or set so only I can see them with the intention of editing them and reposting them publicly but guess how often that happens.
How was everyone else's week?
